Most good parts houses should have a pipe nipple or go to hardware store.

I THINK THIS SHOULD WORK WELL ON MY NEW ENGINE, HAD TO CUT OFF THE CHOKE THERMOSTAT MOUNT ON THE INTAKE FOR THIS FUEL LINE TO FIT, BUT I THINK ITS WORTH IT, AND I'LL BE USEING THE ELECTRIC CHOKE ANYWAY,

John i'm not sure you will have the clearance with that air cleaner , I'm stumped for the correct word maybe rod can help but but my air cleaner bottom had to canaleaver down around the top of the carb to fit opposed to everything sitting above the carb.

Dropped base is the term you are looking for.
Most are designed for Holleys, this is one for an E'brock.

I will try very hard not to give you my full opinion of those triangle foam filters....Shocked
See if you can return it and get a real air filter and housing.

I just did a google search for the term "drop base air cleaner" and that showed up.
I don't know a source, but a quick search should find one.

As for the other, I really don't have anything nice to say about them. Wait, they are light.

Poor filtration, poor air flow and turbulence around the vent tubes, horrid fire supression (any backfire will torch them) and cheap hardware (center stud and nut) that often loosen up and get into the engine! They are also marketed or bought for low clearance situations. Problem is, proper fuel metering requires at least 1 inch clearance above the top of the carb so the air is not restricted or tumbling. They are a worse choice than those tiny round filters for 2 bbls that are so restrictive you can see and hear them change rpm when installing and removing the top at RPMs above 1500 or so!

That one has the typical Holley clearance bubbles, not the same as the one I posted. Email the seller and confirm that it will:
    1. clear the Edelbrock carb
    2. clear the fuel line
    3. clear throttle linkage
    4. includes instructions and oil to reuse the filter.
    5. provide a paper air filter replacement # in case you want to swap from the current element to a regular one.

The ad says that it includes the stud and wingnut. some people like to add a lock nut to the stud so it doesn't loosen. Others feel this causes stress and that the stud can break here. Just added thoughts on air cleaners....

I inherited one of those metal and foam triangle units with my '65.  Not long after, my timing chain jumped and she backfired through the carb and started a hell of a fire.  What the fire didn't destroy, the chemical fire extinguisher did. I use Halon fire extinguishers now; they're expensive but worth it.
