If the integrity of the pink wire is good(ohm check for continuity).Move it from the current location on the ignition switch to a keyed 12v post. Extend the wire to power the choke.

worked all day on the wiring and got it all straightened up and pulled the heater box out, tore up the glove box cardboard, so i'll order a new one, after 45 years the paper box fell all apart, removed the core and control valve, everything was locked up, all three heater control cables were rusted tight, got them freed up, and control valve wors free now, i dont want to chance the core so i ordered a new one, once i get all the heater back in i'll start on the instroments, i want to turn the hubdometer back to all zeros, and install the 4 way flasher, its much easyer laying on 2 2x10s were the engine was to work on all this, when i get the dsh all done i'll start putting the engine in,

I THINK THIS SHOULD WORK WELL ON MY NEW ENGINE, HAD TO CUT OFF THE CHOKE THERMOSTAT MOUNT ON THE INTAKE FOR THIS FUEL LINE TO FIT, BUT I THINK ITS WORTH IT, AND I'LL BE USEING THE ELECTRIC CHOKE ANYWAY,
Do you have the part numbers for your intake, carb and pump?
