steering column floor cover replacement

I'm needing to change this cover out due some corrosion. Do I just disassemble the column from the top and does the outside skin of the column just side up and off?. Anyone have a good schematic of the break down of the column?

The column is removed from the van, then disassembled. Page 19-3 of the manual.
On manual trans, remove the grille and disconnect the shift levers.
On all models, remove the floor plate, the steering arm, the wiring, the 3 lower bolts, then the top bracket bolts and strap.
