Vendors for Chevy Van G10

Just got a 65 Chevy Van G10. I have searched the internet and haven't really found any vendors for Chevy.

I need seat upholstery, engine cover seal and possible automatic steering column or linkage etc to go back to 3 speed manual.

Tim Kahn is cutting up / parting out a 1966.   If you have a late '65, the linkage is the same.  If you share your VIN (you can private message me if you wish) I should be able to let you know if you have the 1st or 2nd design linkage.

SMS has the original pattern for seat material pattern.   Sometimes a long delay, definitely full cost.  Curious, did you try a local upholstery guy for a nice non-original pattern cover; there are no premade I am aware of; other may know...

This is how I get cheep on a bronk or stang... falcon prts R perfect...

The seat frame is completely different than cars or trucks for that matter.

Cant think of anything else off hand. I have a 66 Econoline as well, no way a Falcon or Mustang seat would work without major mods.

I bought an awesome pair of  lowback seats off Amazon for $85 apiece that are offered for forklifts.....Most car seats are not made to sit low enough...

I have most (maybe all) of the shift and clutch linkage for a 65 G10.  I will happily sell it to you for a very low price. The pieces are long so shipping will be interesting.  Let me know if you are interested and I will dig all of it out of my shed.  I also have a 3 speed trans, bell housing, and clutch pedal if you need those.

I have the bellhousing, clutch pedal, Z bar etc.

Pretty sure all I need is the shift rods or linkages and the transmission. The transmission is a big hassle to ship so I wont ask you to do that.

But the rods and the shifter ears I definitely need.

The previous owner of my '67 108 installed Recaro seats. They work OK. I've had this van for about 15 years now.

I don't know what model the Recaro seats, are, though.

I have the seats, so I just need upholstery. I have a friend that owns a flag business, may just use some worn Texas flags to make covers. The original upholstery is in good enough condition to use as a base for the flag material.
