Its a Display van.....so cool. Nice find AND deal for ya! If that was my van I would restore it to original and even keep the jump seat. Most vans were hot rodded in some way so.... original might be cool, by the way that 8 door Dodge is a GREAT deal too running or not. There are not alot of 8 doors out there.

I am not in a great position to buy another, I just got one last week.
But, if that 8 door is a panel and the body is typical AZ no rust, sign me up!
Please post pics and tell us what drivetrain, along with the window count.
    I'd even pay a 10 percent finder's fee!

I'd buy an all window too. Very Happy
I just don't care for displays (don't mean to offend, just my preference).

Display is one side pannel and the other side all windows.... I was told they did this for shows. One side is their pannel the other a window van.

The passenger side is the only side with windows on a dispaly van. The drivers side is solid.

They were work vans, used by Sears, Ma Bell etc... I'm thinking the window side was for seeing the bins on the other side

They are safer, since you can check traffic on the right, they let light in so you can see stuff inside while working, and the solid side is for the racks full of whatever.
All good reasons for work trucks back then. Now it would be displaying what's inside for the smash and grab artists, which is why most newer work vans are solid and have locking cages....

Strangely, I couldn't find a display one to show you, but it would be just like your Chevy.
