Hello everyone -
I'm new to the forum, and I am looking for a '67-'70 Chevy shorty in good shape for a project vehicle that I can carry across the finish line (or just get in it and drive!) I try to keep an eye on the For Sale listings here on the board, but thought I'd reach out to the membership in case someone might have a jewel that they might consider parting with.
I had a '66 Econoline when I was a teenager. It was a former NASA photo van that I bought through a GSA auction for $300 in 1970. Did all the work on it myself and even though I loved that truck, what I REALLY wanted was a '68 Chevy 90, but couldn't find one for the meager money I earned selling snow cones and cleaning cages at a local veterinarian. Lol.
I would prefer a panel van with rear windows only, but would most definitely buy one with side cargo door windows if its in good shape. A factory V8 would be nice, but a 6 cyl is not a deal killer by any means. (I would like to install air conditioning!)
Located in Houston, Texas, but I can have it shipped.
