a100 & 108 spindle would be the same the 10" or 11 " brakes is the difference
call scarbird they are up on what you would need
in the 60`s the barracuda , Valant and Dart were a bodies ,
Also the dodge full size pickup is a D 100 but often confused as the a100

Scarebird sells you the brackets, you buy all the remaining components. They are all easily sourced with the part numbers. You can do it!

i looked up the scar bird stuff-
it may be a dumb question so don't make fun.

The original set up i have wheel bolts to hub

the scar bird rotor has no lug nuts - how does wheel go on?

Do I have them pressed in - the part list does not have them listed

in short how does the wheel and get attached in the scar bird set up for the 67 dodge a108

DISC BRAKE CONVERSION QUESTIONS - Today at 3:14 pm
Im confused on how the wheel goes on.

i know its sounds dumb - but my first attempt at doing a disc conversion.

i am a visual learner and the scar bird instructions are written .

    any help would be grateful

    with humility

the rotor has bearings fitted to the front spindle , the rotor is held to the spindle by a center bearing, washer large nut and a carter pin  the rotor has the wheel studs
    hope that helps ..

body classifications A,B, body? for front disc brake conversion Empty I don't think the Scarebird brakes fit the 1967 Dodge A108

    Post by elton@eng.auburn.edu Sat Oct 24, 2020 4:23 pm

    CAUTION!

Last time I looked at the Scarebird website, they make a conversion for all A100s, but not the 1967 A108.  I suspect the parts will fit the Dodge A108, but they're concerned that about stopping ability, given the higher load capacity of the A108 compared to the A100.

    Here's my reference:

    https://scarebird.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=127&search=a100

" These brackets will currently only work with the 2200# front axle, and will NOT fit the 13" rims nor 1967-70 A108."

I looked up all the parts on the parts list and the rotors do not have wheel studs pressed in .

Elton- thanks for the heads up - has anyone out there put in a front disc conversion on a 67 a108?
    that will be safe

i run a different set up on my a100, , but the disc brake set up is by far the smartest conversion you can do for safety on any car /truck that runs 4 wheel drum brakes, they have been around for more than 10 years and i never heard of a complaint , they stop faster , easier they don't pull, self adjusting

The Scarebird conversion is one of the most popular ways to go on "A"s. Many have also used early Dodge Dakota parts to convert to Disc brakes. Another kit is by AAj (aajbrakes.com). Also Engineered Components Inc. (ecihotrodbrakes.com) says they make a kit. There doesn't seem to be a direct "bolt-on" kit for the A108, you have to do some modifications no matter which way you go. The backing plate, steering stop points, sway bar, tie rod, etc will probably have issues. You will need to replace your Master Cylinder and proportioning valve (or add the P valve, if yours doesn't have one). Should run all new brake lines as well. All that said, it's well worth the improvement and costs. There are some really knowledgeable people in these groups that have done this conversion, so join all the Van groups you can find and ask LOTS of questions. Good Luck and please post your experiences!
