My question is: Is the VIN stamped anywhere on the frame to verify? I really want the van but if I cant register it, its no use to me. Thanks!

Yes the VIN is stamped on the front side of the frame cross member that is just forward of the fuel tank. It is adjacent / underneath where the rubber fuel line passes through the cross member.

Just as a related note: "IF" a previous owner has installed a 24-1/2 gallon fuel tank - then that cross member has been moved / rewelded in - One the those things that could cause "concern" during re-titling the van.
