1966 Chevy Van Vin Question

Hey Van Nutts! Bill Fowler / Solo Speed Shop

I'm looking at a 66 Chevy Van Panel no windows & first 6 Digits of Vin are
G12569 Most have a letter where 9 is Its been in CA its entire life

Bill, buy your old van back. The guy that bought it is just letting it rust.

Thought I'd chime in here.
I'm from Alberta & I have a 65 Chev van.
The serial number is 5G120560(zero)****A, the tag says made in canada. From what I've found out, the serial numbers are different from canada & the us.
I tried posting a pic but I'm not very good at getting the right size to show on here.

1st Gens show that
G12 is a 1/2 ton van
5 is panel,,,,,6 is SportVan
6P is 1966
