hey guys im very new to the group . my 69 A100 steering assist cylinder has recently started leaking badly does anyone know if this cyl can be rebuilt or will it have to be replaced . if replacement is the option where can i find one . thanks

Subscribing to this thread. Looking for the cylinder as well as the control valve. Not on priority, but would be nice to get power steering back to work.

FYI...I had Blue Top steering rebuild my steering box and they mentioned that they can rebuild the ram and control for power assist on the A100s.

I contacted Blue Top, nice guys! They can rebuild my steering box as well!
I actually need to first have a front end professional see what may be wrong this weekend.
It has about 4-5" of play either way, and a slight click at about 11 & 2 when turning?
I am getting new shocks put on this weekend and a front end alignment. They will give the front end & steering a look. Just getting the alignment should assist a bit too.
Gonna have them review everything and see what is needed to be able to drive in a straighter line...LOL Now it's kinda like steering a ship, two turns to the right and one back!

I asked about the steering box rebuild... $235.
He also mentioned they have worm gears that are reconditioned plus other parts that may be required.
