Yeah both sides cause there should be two I saw hat in your picture of the diagram. Just hope it will hold and work

it dont break by itself,,,,,,,its from worn out shift grommets that lock the trans in 2 gears at once and people get mad and pull too hard on the shift lever which breaks the ears off that part,,,,

Its just part of the shift tube,,,,,,,however,,,,,,,,,I would think calling it the crossover arm lever would be a good description,,,,,,,to someone who understands shift levers and columns,,,,,,,

,,,maybe just weld a flat washer on it and cut a slot so that the tab on those levers fits into,,,,there aint much pressure on the levers,,,,,when the lockout springs get weak in the trans cover,,,,,the shift lever will fall down out of 2nd into 3rd when you hit a bump,,,,,,
