The Tree Van !!!!!!!

Well we have resumed work on the tree Van ..... today we started to get the Front and Rear Axel Ready to Mount under the Tree Van !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is the Old Link were we started So Long ago !!!! http://vintagevans.forumup.jobs/viewtopic.php?t=6685&mforum=vintagevans

The U- BOLTS CAME IN TODAY !!!! From Napa ...... The part Numbers for the front are 1 @ 650-4058 and 3 @ 650-4051 and this will Get the Dana 44 Mounted to the front of the Van !!!!

Previously on TreeVan,,,,,,,,,,

Vanish rescues the TreeVan in Dec 2006
Then gets the differentials off a 4WD Chevy Pick up.
Then the front axle of the TreeVan is removed
So now those axles are ready to be put under the TreeVan,,,,,

G-Man..... I can't wait ether !!!!! There's something about the Tree van That I Just can't put my Finger on .... I Love it !!!!!! Yes I have Had better Vans To work on.... But When I saw it for the first time ... it JUST SCREEMED save me !!!!!!!!! Plus Don helped me get it for 50 Bucks ....... and yep it's Gonna Need Lots ...........

The day I met Don I wanted to take a ride in his Early to see if I wanted to get one of my own again. While on our little drive, I showed him where I saw TreeVan every day on my way to work. It was in a fenced in yard of a body shop where it looked like they'd never get around to fixing up this poor van. Don took it from there and we all helped save another van!

I gave Vanish a radiator to get rebuilt for the Blue No Door and I took off the exhaust system to get a new one made with a tail pipe that goes out the back. I guess Vanish did not like this MOPAR muffler that was on his van,,,,,,,

Well, Guys you can say we got a small.... or I wont Lie.. a Big Rinkel in the rug !!!!!! We haven't been able to move forward with the tree van... Due to a lot of things ... But some of the parts Got scrapped by accident.... and The Biggest Problem Here at the the moment is our Bad economy..... Just Don't have the $$$$$ to move forward on it !!!!! But stay tuned cause we haven't give up just yet....... Things will come around soon I HOPE............
