A100 in Autria (Europe)

Hey guys.

I want to introduce me and my A100. In summer 2015 I saw a A100 pickup in the pit area of a dragrace event at Hockenheim (Germany). I was so fascinated that I started a research in internet and found a lot of information about As, Gs and Es. Since I can remember I loved those old US cars and so I decided to get an A100 Sportsman. Last summer I found one on craigslist located in Sun City CA. A local guy who's familiar with importing cars to Europe helped me to bring the baby to Austria. In december I started the A100 the first time. What a feeling. The same guy helps me to get him fit for the street. Hopefully in June I can drive him whenever I want.  

Great van! Hope you don't have much to do for getting it streetworthy. Austria is pretty picky about getting classic cars on the road, isn't it?

Yes there are some rules which have to be fullfilled. Also it's not that cheap to drive a historical car. Anyway, he will find it's way on the street.
Sorry, no further details. I saw the pickup just for some seconds, but I think he came from Switzland. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture.
