New member: A108 Corey Cruiser in Europe

Ladies (?) and Gents,

first of all a big thank you to all the members. This is a great forum, I've used the search a lot the last couple of month and got a lot of very helpful answers!

I'm a Mopar guy in northern Germany and helping a friend with his A108 Corey Cruiser. I personally own a '68 Charger for show and a '68 Coronet wagon which is my daily driver during the salt-free season. I always loved the A-Vans, my wife even likes the vans better than the cars. It's not unlikely that we'll own our own someday.

My friend Stefan bought this 1967 Corey Cruiser last fall, bodywork and paint is done. We're now in the process of putting it back together which is a challenge because he bought it mostly disassembled.

Everybody please prepare for a lot of questions during the build! I'll keep you posted if you're interested!

the van looks very nice. you need to find a differnt location for straping down the front end. the front axle is not a good option. try looking at the frame behind the front bumper. You don't want to bend the axle. All the photo's look real cool.

Small update, this is the van on a small test drive with 18/25 glass installed and the rechromed grille:

Van looks GREAT! Can't wait to see some pics with those interior panels installed. That'll give it a real clean look! LOVE IT!

We made some progress, installed most of the interior panels and added a bench in the back:





Tried some new wheels, but it will get steelies with baby moons, tire size will be 225/70/15 on 7" rims.

And this is brand new, just got these from the guy who custom built a professional headliner:






We'll get the van back to our shop on saturday and continue with the carpet. We still hope to have it on the streets this summer.

Beautiful job on that interior, love it.

Had a date at the technical inspection today. We'll have to get back one more time, there were minor things that were not good enough to pass. We think it'll be only a couple of days until the van will finally be registered and back on the road. Finally!
