I bought some land 5 years ago with a bunch of vehicles on it. Most were very rusted and were sent to the metal recycler. I saved an a100 I'm pretty sure it's a 66 or 67. It has the 177 slant, 3 on the tree, and 3.90 gears I think. It doesn't have many windows and only 2 front seats. It has all the hubcaps and some rotten white walls. I also have a mid 60s dodge truck with a running 225 and a 318 bolted to a 2wd automatic sitting on a pallet. My wife gave me the ok to start working on it. I do a bit of wrenching as a hobby and side work. I've built a few 47rh,47re,48re performance diesel transmissions and a handful of motors. I wouldn't mind keeping the 177 if it runs. It has a good patina look to it now and if it runs the only changes I would make would be to lower it a little- maybe an axle flip

Glad to be on the forum. Smile

Hyder is southeast right ? I'm on the Kenai peninsula. My shop is right at the beach and I love the area. The winters aren't to bad especially the last few. Southeast ak is pretty and the weather is warmer in the winter than where I'm at. I want to check out the se region more but more often than not tickets to fly within Alaska cost more than flying out.

When you post pics, if you choose 640 pixels, it should stop cropping your pics. Welcome aboard!
