Hey everyone just joined after getting my 1966 A-100 running after a 7 year slumber from blowing up the bent six when I was 20 .Took some time tracking down the trans, and mounts which arent quite right but right enough for the time being for yard movement. It is a bit rusty but will be going through a fun little transition so I can be driving it daily again (which the wife backs 100% ) But here a few pics I will try and get more as I go along with the project. Thanks for the look and look forward to making some new Vannin friends.

Hey thanks for all the welcomes. I will get some pics of that Aux Heater and post them up. Rod I had notcied in your A-108 8 door post about the Drivers side mount being differnet. How different is it? do you have a photo of what it looks like? Do they fit anything else? The left mount on my van is the one that is funky and needed some shimming.

Re: New Member
Here is something else on the engine brackets.
Terence Jimminy who is a long time member of the Yahoo A-100 group recently posted this. I have not confirmed this, but the guy KNOWS these vans.
I have found some very good stuff on the site. However, it is an old-style Yahoo forum and there are a almost 35 thousand posts to wade through to get the info.

In numerous postings over the years ... we mentioned/instructed members
that:
A. The Left /6 frame Brkt can be made into a Left V-8 Bracket
B. The Right /6 frame Bracket is similar to the V-8 Bracket except the ONE
INSULATER HOLE IN IT just has to be redrilled
C. The engine block side brackets are actually 2 Right side A-Body 65-66 V-8
brackets

Nice van! I'm digging the lynx on the cabinet door!
I'd bet $3 there is at least 1 plastic baggy from the 70's hidden in that cabinetry!

Re: New Member
Everything but the drivers side engine mount lines up. After reading the links Rod posted the 360 mount is a bit more forward. I will snag some more pictures of the interior lots of animal cabinets and padded red vinyl. thanks guys!
