    Hi Brent!
Good your asking, I see my last post is from 2016... I got the van through inspection just after my last post and I've driving it since then a lot! Only thing is the alternator got tired and I had to replace it. Runs much better now!

Just a few months after we got the van here in The Netherlands we got the chance to buy a house. But it needed lots of renovation, so all our time, energy and money got into the house the last year. The van was a great help to get all the supplies, because we did a lot of the renovation ourselves. It is amazing how much stuff you can fit in a Supervan!

We plan a much needed cleaning and maintenance for our van this weekend. And get it back from working van to campervan again. Summer is coming!

Like Vanny said, congrats on the new house! Good to hear from you and that you haven't had any major issues with the van over the last year. I bet you get plenty of interesting looks and questions from people when they see you driving it around.
Have fun camping this Summer! Oh, and Amy said she'd be happy to come over and give Robin a hand decorating if she needs any help! lol

It was great fun to see Robin and Tice in their own realm last year Smile It blew my mind after seeing the throng of Amsterdam to hear Tice tell me he drives the van daily! Ya like no problem. Smile lol! It reminded me of when I was younger in Indiana and didn't give a damn about shit or shinola

Hi guys, wanted to put an update here. I have been working on the Supervan a lot. Welded up all the holes in the floor, about 50 of them, bigger and smaller. also replaced a few pieces which where rusted through.

The sanded everything and put the floor in a 2k metal paint. I got inspired by the way Uant got his interior painted!

This week I put the carb in a ultrasonic cleaner, it went in brown and got out shiny metal, haha. Much needed. Rebuilt it and installed it, running much smoother now.

Next to that I swapped the trusty old vice grip for a real e-brake handle. Moved the vice grip to one of the doorhandles, of which the ribs of the pin where almost gone. And put some new bearings and rubbers on the shifting rods.

Then I put in some sound dampning stuff so highway speed is more doable noisewise. We are working on getting our campervan interior back in, because we will go on holiday soon!

So from your side of the pond, how far east can you go before they dont appreciate Ford vans? What places have you been to out there,,,,,,,swim over to England?

Hi Thijs, Let me know what latch you need. I probably have one around here somewhere I can send.

    Duane in Tennessee.
