    Will early Mustang seats fit a 65 e van ?

    I have found they will fit . A little wide,however. Touches the door and the doghouse slightly.
    There's a guy with an E van called Van Damn with pics . I can't find the the link again.
    Looked real nice, Clark ,real nice.

    The only issue I've seen with stang seats is that stuffed pad nearest the drivers door takes a beating ... a mustang is a drop your a$$ and in ... the econo is more of a butt slide over ... and as you mentioned they are bigger ... so you have to carefully tuck the seats away when you open and close the DH lid ... just my .02

    We used Mustang II seats in our A-100 and they fit great!

    and those seats are a lot harder to get out of when your van catches fire ... like my first one did a few times ... farging thing ... learned to call it "Christine" ... tried to roast my marshmallows a few times sonnamagucci ... dang blasted thing was worse than a crazy ex ...

    The original seat legs had to be modified a tad by welding on side brackets...  no big deal though. They work well but the doghouse does require a little twist to close it .
