I guess it's all a matter of preference. My self, I ain't getting any younger and I'm thinking a little lumbar support might not be such a bad idea. I have the stock seats in mine now and I find them to be "ok" but would like a little more support and confort for when we go on a long drive. So I guess if you like them, I say go for it. Personalize your ride. cheers That's what I'm going to do.

Your call and whatever is best for you but the stocker seats are "just seats" and nothing more. I prefer something a bit comfier and there are lots of options out there.

I had the same problem ... trying to find something that looked "right." For what I've got going on, highbacks, headrests, and racing seats just look out of place. I found a pair of leather bombers on Craigslist for $200 - the same ones that are on fleabay all the time for $1,200. Had to make 14 ga. plates with welded studs (on the doghouse side) to make them an easy bolt-in, but it was worth the effort. Now I've got all the comfort, and got rid of the stock junk that was like sitting on a park bench. Don't be in a rush - if you take some time, the right seats can be found on the cheap, it just takes some lookin'.

WOW, Those look great in a econoline. Nice score, the extra work you had to do was well worth it.

Looks comfortable to me, and does not look out of place. I like it.
