headlight switch, wiring diagram

anyone know how to remove that headlight swicth from the dash and test it???

i've been pulling the knob while pushing that little "pin" underneath it and it doesnt come out, is there a trick about it?

and if anyone has a wiring diagram for testing it?

any inputs will save my dash from my sledghammer ....thanks..corrosive

I pull the stem to the headlights on position, THEN press the little stem on the switch. Sometimes it helps to twist it some (like you are dimming).

oh yah! pretty cold , but with a heated garage its not too bad, working on last minutes problems....corrosive
