San Diego Trip.. Van pics

Wife and I just got back Tuesday night from our vacation in San Diego. We had a blast and I have to say i have never seen so many vintage vans, campers, VWs or classic in one place so often.

I guess being a Pacific Coastal City with the surfer culture probably lead to so many being there. We spent most of our time in the surf communities Ocean Beach, Pacific beach etc and you could not drive a single block without seeing a vintage van, vw or camper.

Anyhow a couple of pics

i noticed that too when I cruise around that area. Van diego really is a nice place to spend a weekend or so. beautriful weather and nice people make for good times. Nice pics amigo! -GothY- (I want that a-108 lol)

You were in San D,and didn't get to holler at the Van celebrities there?
That is a great city to see.

Yea, we were busy as hell. Really only had 3 full days to do all we had planned. Zoo, Ocean Kayaking, light houses and so forth.. If the trip was longer I would have made it happen. We plan on making the trip again in the future and I will make sure a meet up is on the agenda.

I drive by that yellow van every day on my way to work. I see the Camper A-100 all the time too, it has a V8

That's funny. I took the wife and kids to Legoland a few weeks ago and I almost sent you a pm Donivan to see if we could check your van out super quick before we left, but I didn't want to bug you... Maybe next time...
