First road trip!!
OK going to Linville Falls N.C. tomorrow with the van. I think I have all the bugs worked out except the gearing in the rear is still high. I guess I will keep it around 60mph on the highway. It is a two hour ride and weill be a good test for longer runs.Wish me luck!!

Re: First road trip!!
Are you going to the van meet in Cherokee next weekend? I might go but don't know if my van will be roadworthy for that far. I've only taken it on short runs and still working out some of the kinks.

Re: First road trip!!
Funny I brought most of that!! Anyway made it there and back. Went camping a mile from the falls and slept in the van. I started to run a little hot running up the mountain but had plenty of power. It started raining about 1 a.m and never stopped. I had one leak and of course the corner of my windshied. It started leaking down my fusebox but didn't short anything out.I guess the only thing I can complain about was when I was going around sharp turns to the right gas spilled from the gas cap. I changed the seal on it but still having issues. I'm ready for more!!

Re: First road trip!!
I'm also glad your van had little or no real problems. For the leak you may have to take out the glass to be sure there no problems there

Cool!
I haven't taken a road trip in mine yet, staying close to home until I get the bugs worked out. Here's to hoping it goes well for you
