    Any ideas?

    14" x 6" - 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern is stock.

Is there room to go taller or wider without cutting or major work? No rubbing is key.

Anyone else gone through this? I found a set of 15 x 8 chrome rims for a great price, but I'm doubtful they will fit.

    Thanks,
    Bo

I have a set of old American Racing 200-s 15x7 front and rear with no problem on my '64 Van-up and a set of 15x8's Hildebrand magnesium vintage wheels on my '66 Van-up front and rear, sorry but I don't know the back spacing. Hope this may help, Glenn

Just for fun I test fitted my friends 17x7.5 w 245/40 Hoosier tires today.

Tucked nicely in my lowered '67 Smile ...might have to roll up the fenders a little.

That might be what I have for the rears... the tires on there looked like they would rub. They're bad anyway (came with the rims used). Maybe if I get a narrower rear tire, I'll be okay...

This feedback is helping me out too... gotta know what I'm shopping for.

I have 15X8 Chrysler police car wheels front and back with Cooper Cobra P215/60/15 tires. They don't rub but I couldn't get a bigger tire in the front or rear.

Wide rubber looks cool on vans..............but on wet roads you'll learn what the the phrase "HYDRO-PLANE" means................

    BE AWARE.
