largest wheel size

What size wheels can I put on a stock suspension 1965 dodge a-100?
I am looking at these wheels on craigslist but they seem wide .....15x7.

This is a very common question for all sorts of vehicles. I understand that it's tough to measure and take into account suspension loading, but if you spend a little time on here looking at all the posts, you will get a good idea.

Is yours at the same height?
Do you have the same clearance on both sides when you try the same wheel on each side?
What are you willing to do to fit big stuff?

15x7 will fit almost anything unless they have some wierd backspace. from there its tire size.

15 X 7 WILL FIT UNDER THA A100'S WITH A 4 INCH BACKSPACE. 3 1/2 IS MORE COMMON

The wheels i took off were 8.5 wide (all the way around) and they had alot of room.
