Do you have to remove the regular door window to be able to remove the vent window assembly?

YEP,,,,,and the window regulator,,,,,But you might have trouble getting that rear channel out of there, 2 screws, to get the window glass loose. Then you got to twist the vent assembly 90 degrees to get it to come out of the door at the very end. But its easy once you see how it all fits in there,,,,,

Thanks again Donivan. I have the following link but just wasn't sure if I had to pull everything apart to get the vent window out.

#21 picture is the screw that hides behind the weatherstrip and that #23 screw sometimes is so hard to get out that it wrecks the #24 channel. And that channel holds the window in. So if you get those 2 screws out, its pretty easy,,,,,,

Yep,,,,,AND,,,,,,if you pull off the lower channel of the door glass, ,,,,,the glass fits both sides, both Gens, so does the vent glass, and they are safety glass that breaks into a million pieces not like the windshield which is laminated glass.
