    anyone out there ever completely remove their vent window, put in some new channel, longer cat whiskers and cut fresh glass there by deleting the vent entirely? they used to do it to vdubs back in the eighties as part of the cal-look mod... vent rubber seems crazy pricey glass is cheap...

    I remember when GM removed the side vent windows on all the cars.68?? im thinking?? and all we learned from that is how HOT the interiors stayed when we drove them = Evil or Very Mad affraid

    true but my vents don't work... they just whistle and leak...

    other than my 66 a100 i have a 63 olds f85 with vents and when it hot and no ac they come in handy, and yes they whistle. who doesn't remember a long trip and hearing the whistle going down the road.

    Glass Packs + tunes = sensory overload Very Happy

    I believe Chip Foose or someone deleted the vents on an 'A' van-up on "Overhaul"
