Ok,,,,while I am waiting for the primer to dry on the windshield frame, its time for the No Door to pull its weight,,,,,,,like haul those 90 lb bags of concrete and those blocks up there on the 2nd floor,,,,,but I still got to load and unload it in 90 degree heat,,,,,,

I surely would not leave home without my sunroof,,,,,,it pulls the air right up out through it so you get a good breeze from the front vent and vent windows,,,,,,but there is a limit to its goodness,,,,,,it can also pull the exhaust in from open rear windows or bad weatherstripping. For a test,,,,In the rear,,,,I would like tape plastic bags from the ceiling and crack the back door open a little or play with the all the vent and door windows to see if you can get a breeze flowing inside of the van and no exhaust. You can maybe see which way the air flows and if you can change it. I have had 12 volt fans mounted in the back to cool it down for my kids. I do have 2 vents on my roof,,,,,you can get that one that has a door to let the air flow in from the front or it raises in the back to pull air out.....

I will be installing two RV Refrigerator roof vents with small Solar panels to run 4 six-inch 12v Computer case fans (2 in ea. vent) to draw hot air out the back. The will run independently so when the sun hits the panels the fans will turn on automatically so to help keep it a bit cooler even when parked.

The Blue No Door - Page 6 4a_111The Blue No Door - Page 6 29092310

Figure between these and all the thermal barrier I'm putting in it should stay pretty cool. Well, at lease not so hot!

Don,you got that Rambo look all locked & loaded with that sawzall.Sunroof looks good though.
Dan,thats a neat idea on the rear air.I gotta ask, with the larger, like 14 x14 vents, how do you get a good seal across longitude center rib in rear.
