When rebuilding a big six, do you replace the head studs as matter of fact? I know this is the case with some motors, but not all.

[iClean if removed ?? & retap all holes so very clean - if any studa or bolts ever thread into water jacket area use a sealer for this purpose to coat the threads when installing=Happy Vannin

Only newer engines use the "Torque To Yield" bolts.
There should be a notation with the head gaskets to confirm this.
