Not sure if those would fit on a solid axle.

Re: Disc brake brackets
I do not know of anybody using that Kind of corvette park brake system on these vans. Or on any other hot rod for that matter. I do used those corvette rotors on my 12" disc set up and contemplated installing the park brake into them on the front spindles like they do on Subaru. But then I reallised that was just another one of those vanner moments so I went and laid down till the thoughts went away.
The usual way to escape those calipers with the internal park brake rachet is to install none park brake calipers like S 10 calipers or many others and then install an aftermarket park brake kit like the ones that insatll a small rotor disc and caliper on the rear end pinion shaft at the U joint yoke.

Re: Disc brake brackets
Tsmmfg.com sells a nice pinion e brake like m1dadio is talking about. The guy that owns the company is a really cool guy and will go out of his way to make sure you have the right parts Bob

Re: Disc brake brackets
Matt; you need to look into that 2nd gen master cylinder you have and find out if it has residual check valves built in. If it does they will be 10lb valves and that is not so good for disc brakes.
You need to have a 2lb valve and only one valve per circuit
As far as i can tell the 2nd gen master is suposed to have a 10lb residual chack valve in each port but I have also seen many cheep rebuilds where they leave the valves out (which would be better for you)
This is why I and every other aftermarket custom brake suplier recomend the early corvette master. (because you know what you are starting with).
Another thing you will need to figure out is which port of the master is for the front brakes and which is for the rear circuit on the master you chose. Its not the same on all master cylinders.
look hear

Re: Disc brake brackets
I bought a proportioning valve on eBay the other day. Valve
I was told this is what I need. Not sure how to hook it up yet or how to check what the pressure is coming out of the MC...

Re: Disc brake brackets
Did the residual check valves come with it?
I also recently changed to a hydraulicly actioned brake light switch. Got tired of replacing the original van switch every year.
there is a2lb valve there because I have rear discs.
Why is master cylinder preasure important at this point? It is a function of pedal force times pedal ratio times master cylinder piston surface area. Either its enough or it isn't. If it isn't then you change one of them later.
The metering valve in this diagram is not always needed

Yes I got a 2 lbs and a 10 lbs.
I still need to get all my metal and rubber brake lines but seeing as how I am not under taking the King Pin replacements and replacing all the spring bushings I am a ways off from needing them. I hate having my van tore up like this!
