Yes dix your right, have to cut the drive shaft down, mock up the new raditor , put in the Lokar shifter, plus all the new engine parts I have. The goal is to have it driveable at least by summer.

Re: Project "G"
Finally finished the brakes tonight, Had a buddy make me a adjustable plunger rod and that solve the low pedal problem.
Have to change the radiator location a little with the new mount the lower radiator hose was a little too close to the air bag. I think if I move it over 3/4 inch that should do it

Re: Project "G"
Chris ,I'm not seeing how the plunger can solve "low pedal" unless it's not releasing the MC enough to reset or your just taking up slack in the mechanical linkage?, Low pedal seems to be almost always just air in the system. What calipers did you end up using?

Re: Project "G"
i rember back in the day when i was somebody and worked for a liveing on the ford vans in the 90,s we hade to make sure there was a dime thickness of space from master cyl to booster the rods were adj able with out it no matter what you did you would have a low bk pedal.that or do like the young kid that worked for me did a bk job put the weels on and could not get any bk pedal at all. went to floor. i said pull the tires back off sure as shit stinks he left both calpers off blew the pucks rt out of them l.o.l i have seen some crazy shit in the fleet world.

Re: Project "G"
Chris....I would be very interested in one of those modified rods to solve my "Low Peddle" issue! Would you please ask your friend if he would be interested in duplicating one more for what ever he charges! I would gladly pay for one!

Re: Project "G"
Well in May and June my business has been busy and with the Baker's show I have been very busy. Well nothing has been getting done on the 64.
Sad part is I have some simple parts to put on, but just haven't made time to do it. Well tonight I made some time and put on the new valve covers , carb and scoop (I have had this 2 years)
