Local machine shop made the hinges , they have door pins with brass bushing on them. They are design so they are fully adjustable in and out side to side. If you look closely the top part of the door has been cut out so there would more room for the swing. A small strip will be welded in there to give it a factory look. Final pictures of it should be next week (I hope)

Hoping to have some final pictures of the gullwing soon. Had some issues finding the right piston rods. First ones so strong it took 3 guys to bring the door down. 2nd set wouldn't bring it up enough. Finally got a set from a Aztech that work perfect.

I alway say if you have a project you have to try to do a little everyday on it if you can. It will keep it fresh in your mind and not sit in a barn for years. Well since it been at the body shop for a while I haven't done that. There are things I can be working on to keep this project going. I going to practice what I preach and start working on parts and other things. I just finished sanding my tailight bezels and will soon send them out to be plated (so I never have to polish them again)
    Project "G" - Page 11 00612

    Project "G" - Page 11 00710

These are next in line , I'll clear coat powder coat them when finished

Took the Headlight rings, tailight bezels , prop rod and doghouse latch to the plater today. I think I got a pretty good price for 6 pieces ($210) , but I did do all the prep work on them. They must be busy said they would be done in Sept.
