Joe I will try to catch the steps for you, won't be back there till Friday. I have to drop off door pins for the rear and front doors. Won't need to pin the side because that will be a gullwing

That hammer head looks like a screw on cap to a gas cylinder like my welder or torches have.

Hi chris, great work that you have done on your 1st gen so far.
    I have a suggestion.
I did a two piece dog house conversion a few years back on my 2nd gen.I made the cut just behind the factory rad mount.
Doing this makes access to the engine a dream.
I made an inner flange out of a spare piece of dog house wall i had here and was able to used a seal so no fumes can get it.
I used zuess fittings to fasten it.3/8's bolts and weld nuts in thew floor
I was thinking it might be a PITA to have to wrestle a complete dog house off......

    Project "G" - Page 10 Carpetpanelsdownseatslidinplace

    Project "G" - Page 10 Clean350

Also in a 2nd gen dog house ther is enough room to move the engine and trans cross member forward so you do not have to shorten your drive shaft to fit the longer tail stock of the 700R4in place.....

    keep up the great work.......

These wings were mass produced back in the day and they are heavy duty , but were push out in production and were kind of wavy as in low spots. Filling all that in to make it look better

Hoping to have some pictures of the gullwing next week. Just got the custom hinges from the machine shop for the gullwing. These hinges will make it ajustable side to side and in and out.
