progress has been slow, I have been working on parts for the motor. I have been working on the valve covers sanding, sanding sanding. I bought this nice polishing kit from eastwood for drill motors to give them a nice polish

    Project "G" - Page 12 00212

next step is to powdercoat them so I never have to polish these again Rolling Eyes

Gotta love the Iron Maiden sign..

When I was 18 I wanted a picture of Eddie's head painted on the hood of my Camaro. But I had way more ideas then money back then.

badnova, sorry to say I haven't had a chance to play with the bag set yet. The van still has no motor , battery and it needs new wiring. As for parts #'s the leafs were made special for this van by Eaton.

A set back for the 64 Sad The low miles motor is a hunk of s**t. it will cost more to built than to get a rebuilt so I'm going to save my pennies for a rebuilt crate motor.

It's was all over the place valve seats bad cyl's out of round (ran it too rich flushed all the oil out) needs to be bored out. four push rods have scores in them. the heads need to be totaly redone. And that just the top end. Sure the crank isn't any better. Sometime you have to walk away. Too put that kind of money in this motor I feel would be a waste of cash. Alot of motors out there I'll find another
