Re: What are you up to?
they came from mill supply. i have had them for longer than i like to admit. the fit looks good to me, but i'm a 1st time bodywork guy, so i don't have anything to compare them to. since i'm going to trim them below the belt line, i only have to worry about the body lines near the bottom of the panels. it feels really good to be finally getting this part of my build started. i just hope the "honey do" list holds off for a little longerNightmoves wrote:Way to go,Wild Bill.Glad to see ya workin on it.Is that panel from like Mill Supply or ebay store American Muscle(?)? Re: What are you up to?
Well spent the weekend tidying up the shop, figure before I get into high gear again on the pickup I will try to organize in there a bit better. Seems the more I tried to clean up the messier it got! Also picked up a new TIG welder so been playing with that a little bit.

Re: What are you up to?
Had to take a break after being sick for awhile. Had the drain field for the septic quit working so spent some time getting that redone. Shimmed the gas tank on the Sportvan so the gas gauge read correctly now. The 66 panel is at a stopping point until the brake brackets form M1D get made so nothing new to report on it. Just another day!

Re: What are you up to?
Got my new 1st gen home.Slight mishap while unloading.Come-a-long went to Hell in a hand basket, let loose, and off the trailer it went.Fence post stopped it from continuing onto 2nd gen.Casualty:one fence post, one mirror, one door mashed in a tad.Neighbor heard it,came to make sure I wasnt under it.
All is good, another day in life.Oh well. heh
