I've put a stereo in my van but I can't decide where to put the speakers. In my first van I just cut a big hole in the bottom part of each front door to mount 6x9 speakers. Done! But now I don't really want to cut into my doors. I'll be putting speakers in the back somewhere but you need some up front.
I've seen them mounted in the wall panel right behind the driver and passenger's head but my Sportvan has the little window there. It would be easy to put speaker boxes under the seats but wouldn't that sound muffled? I covered over the one speaker grill in the dash.
