I am installing Back up lights on my '68 P/U and i do not know where to connect the switch that is on the Shifter (Auto Trans.) The wiring charts show a Black wire and a orange wire going to the switch. I have a Black wire running to the rear body, which according to the charts is for the B/U lights. Thanks in advance.

Re: Installing reverse lights
Test the black wire you have (to the rear): touch it to battery plus and the backup lights should light.
The Orange Wire is then 12V ignition (check with a test-light).
Connect the two switch wires (as of pic) to the above wires: one to orange and one to the black wire and you should be good to go. It does not matter which way you connect both wires to the switch.

Re: Installing reverse lights
the lights in the back only have 1 wire so the light bezel has to be grounded to the body

Re: Installing reverse lights
dix is absolutely right. I assumed a stock wiring/setup in the rear. Ground is provided via the screws holding the backup-light socket to the body.
