I surely did not know what you were talking about,,,,,,but talking about vans,,,,,WACKO,,,,,it looks like your van is related to Billys,,,,,a 66 with the SportVan body,,,,,you don't have the step or pop out windows do you??? And is your VIN close to G1256P120200?????

I am at work right now so I will check out my vin tonight. Nope, no step or pop outs. Mine had a rear seat in it when I got it but I don't think it was stock. I also have the jumpseat as my passengers seat.

A panel truck, like mine, can have windows, but they are flush with the body,,,,,,like as if you just cut a hole and stuck a piece of glass in it. But, a SportVan has a frame set into the body,,,,,like the doors with glass look. So thats why its so interesting on how a van, with a panel VIN number, ends up with a SportVan body. I just wonder if that is a special order, but its probably left over SportVan parts that they wanted to get rid of,,,,,,

Doesn't the lower slot opening on the 'radiator grill' identify it as later than a '64?

    Regardless, what a fantastic find!

Billy, you've got a rare gem there, and I'm very glad that it's found it's way to the hands of someone that will give it the respect it deserves.

Vanning's history has gotten quite a bit richer this day, the addition of this find to the culture and to the future of vanning and it's fans is a gift beyond measure.

Here's to you Billy, and to all who love Detroit's utilitarian (but ubercool) shoeboxs on wheels!

Three Cheers for Billy and the Great 8!

    Hip, Hip, Hooray! cheers

YouTube would be the easiest. Maybe make a channel for all your van videos. I think you can set it up so only those with the link can see them. Then just paste the link into a forum post.
