Re: 65 Sportsman
Let me tell you, that's the best offer I've had in a long time and if I had the time and the means, I'd be on my way tomorrow! Especially since you've already done the majority of the work...LOL! I
l love seeing all the "works in progress" on this site. There are many talented people here who motivate and inspire others with their hard work and dedication to keep these vans on the road and make improvements to make them safer as well.
So thanks for the continued inspiration!

Re: 65 Sportsman
I thought you were just teasing us again with these pics until I clicked on them and realized they were cut off so here goes...
So glad to get to this point
Some assembly required
Hopefully I can do a test fire on the motor this coming weekend.
Hope you don't mind but it was driving me crazy...which is a very short trip for me!
Just for the record, I think it turned out Fantastic...Definitely My Opinion!!!

Re: 65 Sportsman
Got the fuel and cooling lines plumbed, dash put together and it fired right up. Carb is leaking gas so I have to rebuild it but the motor sounds good and all the vital signs look good. I pulled the rear springs back off so I can drop them at the spring shop and have them lowered a little; they put way too much arch in them when they rebuilt them.
