Re: 65 Sportsman
Hey great picture, I remember that show! Now I'm really showing my age, lol!
Got lots of details wrapped up lately. Got the wiring al tidied up, under dash stuff finished, brakes finished and bled, front door latch hardware cleaned up and installed, and the driver seat in. Lots of other stuff too but that’s the highlights. Just about down to putting in the glass, painting the grill and bumpers, and doing a test drive.

Falconvan,
What a beauty! The color looks different in the sunlight. Is it pearl or some special effect?
Great job.

Re: 65 Sportsman
Just noticed the stitching in the seat...Very Nice! Did you purchase it that way or was it custom done?

Re: 65 Sportsman
I really like the color, too but it's just plain old single stage enamel; nothing fancy. I got those seats from Mill Supply, they sell parts for step vans and delivery trucks. They also have some sheet metal replacement parts for the A100. Seats were only $119 each and the mounting holes were in the right location for the Dodge seat adjusters; literally a 30 minute bolt in without having to re-drill anything.

Re: 65 Sportsman
Tedious work this weekend. I had door hardware from 8 different doors for the side and rear doors that was rusted and clogged with old paint. Was able to clean it up and got enough parts to get all four doors functional. Also got my exhaust on. Beat the dents out of the bumpers and grill and got them painted.

Me, too! I'm ready to take a break from building and do some cruising. Plus my garage is a disaster from this project, time for a major cleaning.

Won 4th place out of 120 cars at the local Dairy Queen car show Saturday. No trophy for 4th but I did get a free ice cream cake.

Re: 65 Sportsman
Falcon, If you get the chance, I'd be interested in the weight of your A100 before you add any interior or other stuff.

Re: 65 Sportsman
Hmm... not sure where I can get it weighed. Maybe there’s some specs online? It’s not getting any more interior; just put a 4x8 rubber bed matt in the back and the rest is staying stock.

She's up for sale, onto the next project. Let me know if anyone is interested; it's listed in the A Vans for sale section.
