Nope, slips right in, but you need to swap the engine brackets R to L and modify the right one due to the change in block mounting ears. As for headers I used the 93/93 magnum manifolds, they are the about equal to a set of 340 HP manifolds. I also converted the front cover to LA style.

Nice, how about cooling issues. Did you change the radiator. I already have the water pump and pulleys changed to la style. Just curious on which intake manifold you have on yours. I have a single plane which may be be too tall.

Pretty much any brand headers will fit, some will hang down a little lower than others. I went with Dougs D453 as they are one of those that don't hang low, and they have 3/8" thick flanges. An FSR or other aluminum radiator with a passenger side lower inlet is key. If you have the correct 727 short output shaft extension housing with the correct top mount (along with the above mentioned engine brackets, mounts, and frame brackets your good to go. I'm using a Weiand Action+ dual plane, which is one of the taller intakes, but there is still room for a drop base air cleane, removing a lid brace might be needed though. There are many threads here by members on engine, header and radiator options and install tips. Here's a 410 stroker install I'm currently working on with an FSR rad, and Doug's headers. Also, you may need a driveshaft upgrade depending on horsepower/torque expectations, as shown in the picture the slant six/a727 one is usable, but small diameter spline shaft and tube are undersized. I expect in the region of  450hp/500ft/lbs and after break-in will be upgrading.. 360 magnum /727 install Img_2011

I am using the Edelbrock Air Gap which is pretty high, the 92/93 manifolds are 2-1/8" dump, factory went into 2-1/4 pipe, so did I. Went with a FSR Tug radiator, my slant radiator needed repair not worth trying to save it. There is a rather long complicated thread on this site about my cooling issues, do not buy the Mopar eight blade (AC version) super duper water pump, the good old fashion six blade pump is what you need. If you have used pulley's measure them, the pump drive ratio is extremely important.

Wow,beautiful install guys! You guys pretty much answered all my questions and i really appreciate it. Unfortunately i don't have the correct top mount 727 so i will be forced to fab a mount for it. My vans gas sipping days are numbered!

Mr Busman, wasn't it a Mopar perf 6 blade you yanked and replaced with a Gates 8 blade?? And, what sort of throttle cable/ kickdown linkage did you go with?

Yes, so glad others have better memories than I do, the Bouchillion pulley's I used required the eight blade (stock) pump although they recommended the six blade, lesson learned. Again you got to measure your pulley's then calculate the ratio. The throttle cable was made by Pegasus, kick down cable and bracket are Lokar.

Here is the pump I ended up with. New eight blade Gates pump.
