Finally got the C4 auto trans in and jimmy rigged the linkage. Awesome!! Only drove around the block, this weekend road trip to the beach.... Stay tuned for a ride report. I have the 4 speed dag tranny 7/8 rebuilt... needs the needle bearings if anyone is interested...price....Cheap!

Actually I have a "top loader Imposter" It is a three speed plus overdrive transmission offered by Ford in the 70's. So basically it is a 4 speed with side mounted shift levers. A three speed only requires two shift rods from the column to the transmission. A four speed requires three. So if I start with a 4 speed column I am hopeful that I can make all this work.
