Taz'z 8 Annual Vintage Chevy Van Fest August 31, 2008

Hi Everyone, Finaly got regestered & thought I would drop a line to say how [i]things are gearing up for Taz'z 8th Annual Vintage Chevy Van Fest. [b]The show is open to All Makes & Year Vans!! I have trophies for Early & Late modles. I finally got the garage empty, knocked down & the old concrete is gone. I hopefully will be poring by this weekend. Then I can get it built & my back yard done before Taz'z 8th annual VCVC fest. There are a few things going on that weekend. Hy~Rollin Vans is hosting a Van show about 5 miles from Taz'z VCVC on Saturday August 30th. Everyone is welcome before & after the show. There will be lots of eats, drinks, fun & entertainment. I will be serving burgers, hot dogs, brats, Fish Fry, & Lots of sides. Hope to see everyone there. Here is a link for the flier.

Holy crap! That's only 40 minutes from my place!

If I bring my primer spotted van in bad need of a paint job, will they be clowning it or should I just go by car?

We don't care what shape it is in. I have not seen a van that was complete! There is always something that needs to be added or changed. We just meet to have a good time & talk about what Ideas we have for our vans. All are welcome!!

Man, sounds like a great time. If we weren't picking up my A100 on the 31st we'd love to have come. We missed Bakers by about two months and this one by a few hours! Guess it will have to be next year.

Wait a second. This is August your talking about, while I'm thinking July. We can probably make this one.

The new garage is standing and in the middle of roofing. Got the heating tube down and the floor poured Saturday. Now it time to clean up for “Taz'z Vintage Van Fest” this weekend. The T-shirts, Dash plaques, & Trophies all came over the weekend. I am ready for a long weekend with my vanner friends!!! New & old!! Hope to see everyone there.

P.S. Don't forget the Hy~Rollin Van Show this Saturday. Then we can caravan back to my house.

Thank you so much for inviting everyone to your event. It was great checking out all those vans from different brands and eras as well as various stages of restoration, customization and configurations. Man there was some high output machines squeezed into those little doghouses.

I for one felt quite welcome and had an awesome time. Definitely looking forward to coming over next year.

Good Morning, I just wanted to say thank you to all those that showed up to Hy~Rollin's Van Show & Taz'z Vintage Van Fest "Party in the Yard". There was a great turnout at both show's. G-Man, As for now I am just planning on making it street worthy & my kid is going to do black flames cumming up from the bottom into the green. After that ????

G-Man, no that was some other lucky vanner that backed into a gully. All I know about that incident is second hand, so I will let someone else tell the details. We drove the silver/gray A-100 Xplorer 21. Just got it on the road in June and then put the first 3,000 miles on it since someone gave it up around 1992.



Just getting the hang of this forum. I could not get in for a couple days. Don't know, but here I am.
