Re: Sun visor help
Yeah, I've wondered this too. They sell reproductions of the pick up visors. Someone must have tried them on our vans.
I know, I'll try posting on a Chevy truck forum and ask someone to measure theirs! A lot of my searches have ended up finding good info on this one:

Sun visor
I bought a truck sun visor, it is bigger than my 1st Gen visor. My plan is to trim it and have the upholstery shop sew it up.
I don't know how 1st & 2nd Gen compare for visors
With that said I can take a photo of the truck & 1st Gen visor together if that has any value.

Re: Sun visor help
For my 1st gen '64, I used a GM set from a mid '70's 3rd Gen Beauville bone yard van. Just a bit larger than 1st and 2nd gen and the mounting angle is different, you need a few washers for spacers to get the angle right so they swing level, but they stay up without a center clip and look great. I painted them with satin black vinyl paint from pep boys. Paid $10 for them....the passenger side even has a factory mirror!
