I had some weed blocker left over from doing my front yard,($5 a roll at a brick and block place)
I thought it would work well for covering the cardboard window blockers I made to keep the sun out while parked, it also works well for camping.
I used spray glue on 1 side, turned it over and added small magnets around the edge's then glued another piece on the other side with the magnets in between then trimmed them.
They came out nicer than I thought and totally block out the front.
I need to make some more for the remaining windows. Cheap and easy.

Russell do you know the name for the material you used on your doghouse?

I was able to get the Van back together and driveable again after welding up the Doghouse and floor.I covered the doghouse and tunnel and wheelwells with material like they use for speaker boxes, it stretches pretty easily and shows the lines of the doghouse well.

Mike, I found this on page 3...Looks like Russell used speaker box material to cover the doghouse...

Love the way it shows the shapes underneath the material! I’m interested in hearing what he has to say as well!

I don't have a name for it. I bought it at UFO, (upholstery fabric outlet) A supplier for foam and fabric and supplies. Do a search for automotive fabric in your area. I can send you a sample if you need it?
They had 2 different type's, 1 was stretchy, one was stiff. I used the stretchy kind.

I took the Van to a local bike and car show, since it was for bike's and cars I loaded my BMW in the back. I got a lot of compliments.
