i just took posession of my grandpas old 68 sportvan, he bought it new in 67 in knoxsville tennessee, drove back and forth from sacramento to tennessee several times a year, he quit driving it in 84 and died in 86, its been sitting ever since, my uncle decided he was going to scrap it.. but i just couldnt let him..so i brought it home, the old 283 was bad, it froze and broke the block, but i have a 350 for it, the body is actually pretty straight,i need a front bumper and driver side headlight surround piece, interior is pretty well done, theres no rot anywhere!! i'll post pics soon

They'll probably refer you to the CHP for a VIN verification. At least that's what the local DMV has done  to me,,, twice. Since you have to crawl under the van to see the second VIN and I never could get them to do it. Even took my creeper with me and offered it to them to use.
