Hello All, So this is what is installed in my dash, doesn't appear to work. From my searches this doesn't appear stock? Was this actually from Rambler like it says? What are the separate buttons below? Definitely appear very old, most likely an early addition? I also have door speakers installed that appear more modern, no speaker mounted under the dash, but I think the holes are there to mount one.

Re: 61 Radio Mystery
those are the pre set buttons,,,,,,you could dial up a station, pull out the button, then that button would remember that station instead of turning the dial to find it again,,,,,,that was in a time there were several good stations to listen to,,,,

Re: 61 Radio Mystery
Hi, yes this is an original Rambler radio. I got the same in my '66 Classic 770.

This is a 1967 model, so you would not have the heater controls above the radio, but this shows what the radio holes in the dash look like.

Re: 61 Radio Mystery
Thanks Barnabas, now looking back at my pictures I can see where they may have welded up the original know holes next to the selector buttons they cut in.

Re: 61 Radio Mystery
The econolines shared the radios that were put in the Falcon cars.
I got a radio and the mounting from early 70's Maverick. Painted the housing and mounted under the dash and it looks like factory.
