Mystery Parts....

Any idea where these parts go?  I found them in a box in the back of the van.

The 2 long brackets with holes in each end look like air breather brackets. they bolt to the side of the engine and assist in holding the air breather up. The black piece with what looks like square holes in the middle, is for side door or rear door dead bolts to go through, either top of roof or the floor. Holds the doors closed. The other 2 not sure. spring could be for the brake pedal or clutch pedal spring return...just a guess. spring looks too big for the carb. I think I got 3 out of 5...lol.

second from left jack hold down plate ?

1 is the clutch return spring.
2 is the jack hold down plate. It goes under the drivers seat.
3 is a dog house reinforcing rib. Goes on the inside of the side panels in the doghouse.
4 is ????
5 is the oil bath airfilter support.

I don't believe it's a first gen part. The metal is too light and the spotwelds were not the type used in the 60's.

If the second from the right is plastic it goes under the body underneath where the rear or side doors latch. Its a mud/ water/elements shield. I don't believe it actually holds the doors shut, that part is a high gauge steel.

OK,  I got most of these figured out.

From Left to right....

1. Brake Pedal return spring.
2. Still trying to fit it somewhere
3. Air filter housing bracket for the Distributor side of the block.
4. I agree with post above on this part,  but i have not tried it yet.
5. Air Filter housing bracket on the carb side of the block
