Mystery solved

Seem this cool custom at Woodward Dream cruise this year and thought it was custom made. Didn't see where it was parked to look closer so thats why I thought it was custom made.


Well later found out it is not a custom build but a 1936 Stout Scarab

Ever see one of these?

The reason you didn't see it was because it wasn't available for public viewing at Woodward. This picture was taken in Florida at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance 2010 here in Fernandina Beach. We go every year and remember seeing this scarab. There were less than a dozen made and only about 6 are known to still exist.
