Question?? some 400's were a big block!! make sure when you post =which one? - of type block! small blocks are all same !

I did some inspector work. I didn't find anything about the 400 being a big block.

It should fit but make sure you beef up the cooling system or you will have issues with the 400.

If you ordered an Impala or Malibu 400 4bbl in 70-72 you got a bbc 402, 400 2bbl you got the sbc either way you got 400 emblems on the fenders.Patrick66 wrote:I did some inspector work. I didn't find anything about the 400 being a big block.
