    I want something that pulls air from the cooler side of the engine.

    While I have you here my accelerator peddle is busted and rusted. I bought one that is just rusted but it is rusted almost solid. I soaked in solvent and have been putting penetrating oil on it. Do you have any tricks to unlock the shaft that goes in the 2 bushings.

    I will see if my friend will take a picture of where that steel hose goes. good question I thought I knew where every thing on this breather went, after all I took it off. lol and we were trying to assess the engine my spelling never was great seems to be getting worse.

    the shaft should be going into 2 plastic bushings,,,,,,so some heat on it should get it freed up,,,,,,,,or keep trying some different kind of penetrating oil to get it freed up,,,,,,

    I think those bushings are available from corvette,,,,,,

    I would not be running a lawnmower air filter on my van,,,,,,,,,that van was my buddy Daves,,,,,,he passed away a year ago,,,,,,it is a 1969, with a 700R4,  power steering and windows,,,,,,

    anyways,,,,,,the system is off a 75 Granada/Comet,,,,,,the control unit gets welded into the drag link, the ram is tied to the frame and center link,,,,,,,,
